Practical information

Pamporovo (Bulgaria) is a ski resort in winter but, they also offer a dozen or so other activities during the summer months: mountain hikes for all levels, visits to extraordinary natural places (caves, etc.), rock-climbing, bike treks, all sorts of sporty activities (running, fitness… all in the clean mountain air!)… And that’s without mentioning the pool, hammam, sauna, massage, and the likes, that the station offers. All of that including yoga!

The next summer workshop will take place in May 2022. On the other hand, there will be a workshop in Vitosha at the beginning of October and a communist tour of Bulgaria at the end of October.

Price of the entire trip and the classes: 759 euros (duration: 8 days / 7 nights)

The price includes:
• 7 overnights (2 nights in Sofia and 5 nights in Pamporovo)
• 7 breakfasts and 7 dinners
• 1 lunch
• All yoga classes (2 per day in Pamporovo)
• One sports training per day with a coach
• Transportation
• Guided tour in Sofia
• Guided tour of Rila Monastery
• Licensed English speaking guide (and French translation)

The price does not include:
• Airline ticket (between 50 and 100 euros with Ryanair)

Arrival in Sofia

Day.1

• Departure Charleroi at 16:45 - Arrival: Sofia at 20:20
• Transfer to the Intercontinental Hotel (5*) followed by an evening in Sofia

Exploring Sofia

Day.2

• Exploring Sofia (St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Saint Sofia Church, the National Theater, St George Rotunda from the IV century, the emblematic buildings and sites of the communist time,...)
• Evening > departure to Pamporovo (Perelik Hotel 5*)

Exploring Plovdiv

Day.3

• Exploring Plovdiv, one of Europe’s oldest cities (Plovdiv Roman Theatre, the old town, Ancient Philippopolis,…)
• Evening > departure to Pamporovo (Perelik Hotel 5*)

Pamporovo

Day.3.4.5.6.

• Morning: yoga class and sports training with a coach
• Late morning/afternoon: mountain hike (between 3 to 6 hours, according to your physical abilities) and/or other excursions
• Late afternoon: yoga class
• Early evening: relaxation (swimming, hammam, sauna...)

Sofia, Rila & Return

Day.7.8

• Morning: yoga class and sports training
• Departure from Pamporovo, in the early afternoon.
• A visit to the Monastery of Rila. This monastery is the largest in Bulgaria.
• Return to Belgium around 10.30pm.
