I then went to the Rotterdam Dance Academy (Netherlands) to study various styles of contemporary dance (Graham, Cunningham, Lim\u00f3n, etc.). Teaching has always been a passion, and I started teaching as early as 1984; first Modern Jazz, stretching, floor barre, and then contemporary dance. In the late 80s, I created two dance companies: <strong>Compagnie Him\u00e9<\/strong>, an amateur company consisting of my own students, and <strong>Compagnie Him\u00e9goto<\/strong>, a professional company.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">In the late 90s, I discovered <strong>Bharatanatyam<\/strong>, and it was love at first sight. After exploring the creativity of contemporary dance, Bharatanatyam fascinated me with its history, evolution, technique, beauty, and especially its overall structure. I began my training with Jetty Roels, then met Monica Kunz, who became my teacher. Monica introduced me to her own guru, Nirupama Rajendra of Bangalore, India. I began this training with traditional methods such as floor barre or classical ballet. I discovered yoga in the early 80s, and it was at the Rotterdam Dance Academy that I studied contemporary techniques, such as those of <strong>Martha Graham<\/strong>. <strong>Yoga<\/strong> and contemporary dance were revelations for me, particularly in terms of a better understanding and management of the body compared to ballet. I taught my first stretching classes in 1984.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Torn between all these techniques that I find fascinating, I have always blended different styles, drawing from each what I needed to help students broaden their horizons. I never wanted to be confined to one style, and I decided to call the method I teach <strong>Stretching Tandava<\/strong>. In 1987, I had the opportunity to participate in the Brussels-Moscow-Beijing Train and organize fashion shows of my creations in Moscow and Beijing. Upon my return, I launched my first collections, initially under my own name, and later under the brand <strong>Carnivor<\/strong>. I worked primarily with denim but also with waterproof fabrics, and in 1990, I opened a boutique in the center of Brussels to have my own point of sale.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">At the same time, I was in charge of the fashion department for 3 years on a television show, <strong>Clip-Clap<\/strong>, which allowed me to meet many Belgian and international designers. I discovered the House movement in the early 90s and fell in love with this innovative music. This social movement was still underground, and in November 1992, I launched <strong>OUT SOON<\/strong>, the first magazine specializing in this field. The concept was simple: a free, bilingual magazine, providing a wealth of information for electronic music enthusiasts. It was an immediate success with the public, and I served as editor and editor-in-chief for 10 years. So, in December 2012, I launched <a href=\"https:\/\/hipstography.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Hipstography<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, a bilingual website (French\/English) dedicated exclusively to this app. The primary goal of Hipstography is to showcase the range of possibilities offered by Hipstamatic, but also to facilitate a great exchange between the app\u2019s fans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Every year, I organize the <a href=\"https:\/\/hipstography.com\/en\/category\/hipstography-awards-2017-en-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Hipstography Awards<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, whose jury is composed of renowned international photographers, and through collaborations, I have created unique collections of combos (combinations of a photo lens, a film, and a flash) available for free download on the site.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">A <a href=\"https:\/\/hipstography.com\/en\/category\/click-boom-amazing-en-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>major exhibition<\/strong><\/span><\/a> was organized in 2016 at the Sofitel in Brussels for three months. I became vegan overnight. I co-directed the Brussels branch of <strong>Anonymous for the Voiceless<\/strong>, an organization that originated in Australia and is now present in over 1,000 cities worldwide. Activists show videos on the streets about the condition of animals around the world and try to explain to the public the importance of adopting a plant-based diet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">It was upon discovering that it is possible to make vegan cheeses better than &#8220;real cheeses&#8221; that I embarked on a new adventure: <strong>Thank God It&#8217;s Vegan<\/strong>. I have always traveled around the world, and it was in the midst of the pandemic, nearly alone on the ski slopes of <strong>Pamporovo<\/strong>, that the idea of creating a travel agency came to me. I realized that it was possible to offer off-the-beaten-path trips, far from the crowds of tourists, by focusing on originality.
